If there’s one thing I’ve learned from watching movies regarding this – it’s that using something that you haven’t tested before can either work incredibly, or fail miserably…
As for our case, it failed badly.
My wife decided to use the induction stove she has been storing last weekend to cook a dish up. We pushed buttons and got it to cook, but then the pan started to smoke and we could smell something burning!
Ah, it was set too high!

My phone might be really close to dying out on me.

However, it is an old phone. An Iphone 6s which was handed down to me from my wife. It also had its screen replaced when it took a dive off a high table and smashed its face up.

During New Year’s Eve preparations, while rummaging for things to be used for cooking, and stashing in the turbo broiler we used for Christmas Diner, I saw our electronic keyboard.
I thought nothing of it, but before I stashed it back in the cabinet where it was stored, I plugged it in and hammered a few notes. Hammered because I barely know how to play.

The keyboard is far from professional, and we bought it for the purpose of studying. For years, it gathered some dust inside the storage cabinet.
