Trying Something New For 2020

During New Year’s Eve preparations, while rummaging for things to be used for cooking, and stashing in the turbo broiler we used for Christmas Diner, I saw our electronic keyboard.

I thought nothing of it, but before I stashed it back in the cabinet where it was stored, I plugged it in and hammered a few notes. Hammered because I barely know how to play.

The keyboard is far from professional, and we bought it for the purpose of studying. For years, it gathered some dust inside the storage cabinet.

The Last Day of 2019

I woke up on the morning of  January 1, 2020 with an aching shoulder and torso… what in the world did I do yesterday…
December 31, 2019 had been a busy day. We had to pick up our order of food for our new year’s celebration at home later that afternoon. In the morning, however, we still had some buying to do.

Closing Shop

Perhaps one of the biggest change that we will be experiencing for 2020 is the closing of our store.

My wife and me have been running that small brick and mortar shop for at lest ten, but less than fifteen years. It has been a grind, and we had experienced a time when it was very successful in its heyday. However, as all good things must come to an end, so must our business.
