Passive Aggression

I’m mad, you’re angry,
At things so petty.
It soon explodes.
Who talked? Nobody.

A deep sigh, disapproving.
The malice is lingering.
The doors, slamming,
The anger — deepening.

Emotions bottled in.
The silence can be deafening.
The gritted teeth, behind the grin,
This life is maddening.
