It’s my first post for the year!
Now, let’s see if I can make something special out of it…
The year started off pretty well. I got some great photos during the fireworks display on New Year’s. I was pretty proud of myself when I was able to capture the timing right.

It seems the holidays sneaked-up on me with a sore throat. Well, I’m feeling a bit better now.
I had a bit of vacation from work and it enabled me to finish building my Deathscythe model and take some photos of it. I’ve uploaded them and will be posting it in a while.

Well, things have been a busy, well, ok, very busy, but I know that ain’t much of an excuse…
Christmas is this Saturday, and I’m glad that I’ll have a few days off from work.
I still have a cold, and my voice sounds awful.

I haven’t played first-person-shooting games in a while, and since I have been having a few, uh, stressful situations, I decided to whip out the old game and start blasting some head off.
While I was playing, a kid neighbor, probably around seven years old, looked over my shoulder to see what I was doing. He often watches me play or use the computer at times.
After sending my Globe Tattoo USB Broadband stick off to be repaired, I got it back yesterday. I would have gotten it sooner, except I was not able to schedule picking-up the unit at the center.
I recently fell into a mood to listen to a ton of classical music.
I can’t really say why, though it could be because I am feeling stressed out by a lot of stuff going on with my life, and I need something new to listen to so I could relax. Maybe it could be because I am getting sick and tired of all the pop music I am hearing almost everywhere I go. Continue reading “In the mood for some classics”
Sometimes, I wonder what I will start posting in here once I finish designing the page…
Hopefully, my writing skills will be sharpened by what information I share in here, and that I don’t neglect my main page…
I am happy to see that my banner seems to fit well with the theme background. I am enjoying the overall feel of the theme. It does not overwhelm the text content, nor highlight the text too much. It even makes me want to re-design my main page… heh.
What do you think of it? I hope you guys like it. 🙂

Welcome, everyone to Mauru’s Realm Lite. Originally, my main blog is self hosted at http://jomz.freehostia.com, where it got more features and stuff. Hey, I maintain it as my personal portfolio, after all.
However, seeing how a “free” domain doesn’t get much traffic, I guess my ideas don’t reach much audience… So I figured, since I like wordpress and its features, and I would also want to read comments, aside from spam comments in my blog post, I guess making one here is not a bad idea.
I guess I’ll just have to deal with some of the limits that a wordpress blog has, like the design and some menu options…
For now, I plan to tweak some visual settings. Having no plug-ins will take a little getting used to… Oh, well.
So, this is my first post for now… (*deletes the default first post*) and I’ll be seeing you all around.
