My anxiety on this pandemic is at a high level. It has come to the point that I am feeling that it is only a matter of time before we all get infected.
Those are rather gloomy thoughts, eh? Frankly, I normally would not want to posting about gloomy things, but f*ck it.
Our City started with having no cases, to one with the highest number of infected cases in the region. It started with a trickle of cases. At first, I felt that the pandemic, while looming in the corner, would still be at a safe distance from me, right?
I could not be more wrong, most specially when people and places I know start getting the unfavorable positive result.
My brother-in-law’s neighbor’s son tested positive. When we heard the news we were worried. We went there to my brother-in-law’s house 12 days before the patient was reported. Fortunately, none in their immediate family got symptoms. If they did, we’d be in hot water as close contacts.
I try my best not to give it too much thought.
But yeah, I can’t help but feel that the way that this pandemic is being handled is somewhat inadequate. The tests take too much time, as the number of active cases being reported keep increasing. Normally, I am blissfully unaware of the reported numbers. I stopped listening to it in the news because the stress is not really helping. However, when it is this close to home… One can’t help but feel dread.
Anyway… Enough of that.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have bought from my redbubble shop this year. My sales from January to July helped a lot in paying some of my bills for this month. Know that I appreciate the support, and am very grateful!
Thank you for reading. I hope you are doing well.
See you around!
