How Are You All Doing?

“Let Me Out!” – Our cat stays at home, too.

Tomorrow marks the start of a more lenient community quarantine measure in our country. I don’t know if that is a good idea, but at least more people will be able to work and get on with their lives.

The virus infections seems to be under control. Probably.

Personally, I am not too sure about the relaxation of quarantine measures. After all, our City still has a few positive cases – one even got confirmed to be positive on the evening of April 29.

While people’s movements to places will still be limited and tourism is still a big “No,” it’s good to know that some businesses will be allowed to operate, among them the public transport sector.

Stocks of supplies is a bit difficult. Flour in groceries is almost extinct, among a few other baking ingredients. Is everyone baking while at home? Probably… I mean we are not an exemption. During the almost two months of quarantine, my wife learned to bake a few different things, bread, pizza dough among others.

Fresh produce is still in good supply. Fruits, vegetables, fish, meat and poultry in the wet market is still in good supply. However, it can be difficult to find good quality goods. For example, I had to go around the market in search for some good quality potato and carrots.

I heard that the US managed to reach a million confirmed cases?!

Yeah, I am very shocked and also very concerned. I hope you, at least, are doing your best to stay clear of people, staying at home as much as possible, and also frequently washing your hands.

Stay safe, and have a nice day!
